"There's nothing like the thrill of fightin' for your
dinner. When you've got one on the line and the struggle
is getting intense, just relax and imagine how great it's
going to taste!" John Hoelscher
"Captain Oscar knows fish, and where they're
biting." Joe Nelson
SAFETY FIRST - BUT JUST IN CASE --
FISH HOOK INJURIES
For your safety: Captain Furman
handles all hooks and fish (until picture time)
You may be one of many people who thinks fishing is the
best way to spend a sunny afternoon. Even if you
approach fishing in the most careful manner, a fishhook may
puncture or become embedded in your skin. Fishhook
injuries occur most often when you remove a slippery and
flopping fish from your line. These injuries may also
occur when you walk barefoot in an area where people fish,
while back-casting the line, or while being near a person who
is back-casting. The chance of receiving a fishhook
injury increases when you use multiple fishhooks to catch fish
or lack experience handling fishing equipment. For
